Personal Car
Directions from Logan International Airport & the Ted Williams Tunnel:
Use Exit 24-25 on the westbound Massachusetts Turnpike (I-90) located after leaving the Ted Williams Tunnel. The exit ramp runs parallel to I-90 for almost ½ mile until it enters the northbound Central Artery Tunnel. Proceed North about ½ mile underground to exit 23. (Continue following the directions from all points South.)
From All Points North:
I-93 South to Exit 24-A marked “Government Center” Follow the signs toward the “Aquarium” to the Southbound Surface Artery. Turn right at State Street. Continue three blocks and turn left onto Broad Street. Take first right onto Water Street. At next intersection bear right onto Kilby Street. Take first left onto Exchange Place and the 53 State Street garage will be on your right.
From All Points South:
I-93 North to exit 23 to “Government Center”. Stay in the left lane, turning left onto North Street at the end of the ramp. Turn left at the dock square garage and follow signs toward “Aquarium” to the Southbound Surface Artery. Turn right at State Street. Continue three blocks and turn left onto Broad Street. Take first right onto Water Street. At next intersection bear right onto Kilby Street. Take first left onto Exchange Place and the 53 State Street garage will be on your right.
From All Points West:
East on the Massachusetts Turnpike (I-90), take the I-93 exit, EXIT 24A-B-C, on the left toward Quincy/S. Station/Concord NH/I-93 N. Take the I-93 exit, EXIT 24C-B, on the left toward Quincy/Concord NH. Merge onto I-93 N/US-1 N/RT-3 N/Thomas P Tip O’Neill Jr Tunnel via EXIT 24B toward concord NH. Take EXIT 23 toward Government Center. Keep left to take the Government Center ramp toward Faneuil Hall / Financial District / Aquarium. Turn left onto Surface Road / John F Fitzgerald Surface Road. Take 6th right onto State Street. Turn left onto Broad Street. Take first right onto Water Street. At next intersection bear right onto Kilby Street. Take first left onto Exchange Place and the 53 State Street garage will be on your right.
Trains
Swift and efficient transportation to all corners of the metropolitan area is provided by four interconnected subway lines of the Metropolitan Boston Transit Authority (MBTA) within a few blocks of 53 State Street.
Both Orange and Blue lines serve the State Street Station, and the Blue Line service is accessible from the concourse level.
The Government Center Station is served by the Blue and Green Lines.
The Red Line can be reached through transfer from the Orange Line or by a short walk to Park Street Station.
Taxis
Taxi service is readily available on all streets bordering the building. A cab stand is located on State Street in front of 60 State Street.
Airports
Logan International is less than 5 minutes away.
Buses
MBTA buses have a dedicated stop in front of 53 State Street and on Congress Street.
